“La Muela” (the molar) is a small mountain
located in the southwest of Xela, it is
a mountain formed by an old eruption of
Santa María volcano. This is a very popular
place to go because it combines elements
of a leisure hike and mild bouldering.
The view of Quetzaltenango and mountains
surrounding it from any of the summits,
is spectacular. It is a very good hike
when you do not have much time but you
want to exercise in a very beautiful place.
