This volcano is located in Quetzaltenango
close to the village Llanos del Pinal.
Its eruption in 1902 was one of the three
largest eruptions in the world of the
20th century. You can see from the top,
the volcanoes Tajumulco, Tacana, Siete
Orejas, Lacandón, Chicabal, Agua, Fuego,
and the volcanoes around the lake Atitlán.
You will have a wonderful view of the
volcano Santiaguito which has an eruption
about every hour.
